As part of the City Government of Malaybalay’s ongoing COVID-19 response, another High-Flow Nasal Oxygen (HFNO) device and its accessories has been donated by City Mayor Florencio “Doc Boy” T. Flores, Jr., to Malaybalay Polymedic General Hospital (MPGH) on August 13, 2021.

Exec. Asst. IV Brian Nelson T. Flores personally handed over the HFNO device worth Php 320,000 at the hospital receiving lobby along with the presence of MPGH medical personnel and City Health Office staff.

EA Flores hoped that the life-saving equipment helps save more lives, crucial for treatment and care for symptomatic patients. He added that since MPGH has also been a partner hospital receiving patients with Covid-19 based on allowable admission, the City Government is committed to provide any support in whatever capacity in these trying times.

The City has tallied a total of 273 active cases on August 12, 2021. While faced with the surge of confirmed cases in the last two weeks, the Covid-19 task force intensified its operations 24/7 to help contain and prevent further spread of the virus.
