In support of the DepEd’s Brigada Eskwela program, Malaybalay City Civil Registrar’s Office (CCRO) conducted stakeholder’s consultation to the schools in Airport Village Elementary School, Casisang and Linabo Central Elementary School on May 28 and 29, 2018, respectively.

Through the initiative of CCRO Priscilla G. Tilanduca, the 2-day activity facilitated the information campaign in raising awareness among teachers, students and parents on the importance of civil registration.

Aside from the usual clean-up, minor repairs and maintenance of classroms during this time, CCRO encouraged parents to register and secure their children’s birth certificates as a primary requirement during enrollment.

CCRO with its advocacy catered a total of 42 clients who availed the services in consultation regarding discrepancies of their certificates of live birth, delayed birth registrations and application of requested copies of NSO/PSA.
