As of September 8, 2021, the Department of the Interior and Local Governance (DILG) office granted safety seals to 24 barangays in the City.

Barangays found to be compliant are the following:Poblacion 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, Sumpong, Dalwangan, Patpat, San Jose, Aglayan, Laguitas, St. Peter, Zamboanguita, Indalasa, Kulaman, Busdi, Caburacanan, Mapulo and Silae.

The Safety Seal Certification Program is a voluntary certification scheme that affirms that a barangay office is compliant with the Minimum Public Health Standards (MPHS) and measures set by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) and uses or integrates its contact tracing with StaySafe Ph.

The program aims to increase MPHS compliance by private and public entities supporting the government’s effort to prevent and contain the further spread of Covid-19.

The seal shall be presented conspicuously at the barangay’s entrance points according to prescribed dimensions with 6-months validity.
