City Mayor Florencio T. Flores, Jr. made his first public appearance along with the new set of City Officials on July convocation program serving his fresh mandate as the new local chief executive of the City of Malaybalay.

The comeback of the long-time Mayor who served three terms in 2001 to 2010 and a lawmaker in 2010 to 2019, calls on the City Officials and employees to embrace changes as the City is now undertaking a transition period for the betterment of Malaybalay.

Anchored on the theme, “Together towards Universal Health Care,” which was hosted by City Health Office, Mayor Flores in his message stressed the importance of addressing access to universal public service that is inclusive to its constituents.

He urged cooperation and teamwork of civil servants under his administration to attain the goals and aspiration of the City.

This month’s program was graced by no less than the head of National Economic Development Authority Region 10. Guest speaker Regional Director Mylah Faye Aurora Balandra-Cariño, CESO III, discussed profoundly the salient points of universal health care program of the government in consistent with its national development plans and programs.
