The convocation program hosted by City Social Welfare and Development Office facilitated a unique presentation showcasing advocacy on the basic rights of the child as we are celebrating Children’s Month this November.

In his speech during the program, Mayor Florencio T. Flores, Jr. reminded City Government employees to always do their best in the delivery of services to the people. “Serve with the same fervor as how we want the best for our children and their future,” the mayor expressed this reminder.

He added that City Government will continue to do its best in securing a better place for our children and the generations to come. Mayor Flores also highlighted numerous recognitions received by the City in this field of endeavor, particularly known as a “Child-Friendly City.”

The local executive further emphasized the importance of caring for, and protecting and preserving our environment that will serve as our legacy for the next generations.
