The City Government of Malaybalay will conduct free barangay veterinary services for the whole month of February 2021.

Headed by the City Veterinary Office, this program aims to provide free veterinary services in all the 46 barangays within the city.

Services included are Hemorrhagic Septicemia Vaccination in Cattle and Carabao (6 months old and above); Deworming and Vitamin Supplementation; Pregnancy Diagnosis in Cattle and Carabao; Monitoring of Dispersal Animals; Monitoring and Surveillance of Swine Population on; Issuance of Certificate of Ownership of Large Animals; Rabies Vaccination in Dogs (3months old above); Pet registration Information and Education Campaign (IEC); and Consultation & Treatment.

Starting from February 2-24, 2021, the City Veterinarian’s staff will conduct the said services above in over ten barangays and will continue to provide the same services in other barangays in the following months.

As per protocol and to prevent the spread of Covid-19, everyone is encouraged to wear face masks and face shields upon availing of the program.
