October convocation speaks about ‘Change’

City Engineer’s Office sponsored this month’s 2nd Monday Convocation program with the theme: “Gearing Towards Genuine Change,” earlier today, at City Hall Grounds, City of Malaybalay.

Cabanglasan Municipal Mayor Renante V. Inocando was the invited speaker to share his wisdom and unpretentious personal conviction towards change for the betterment of public service.

The guest speaker who hails from Miglamin, Malaybalay City lauded the past achievements, accomplishments and the continuing undertakings of the City worth emulating for other local governments in the province of Bukidnon.

Inocando, a cum laude graduate who placed top seven in Electrical Engineer license board exam in 1997 and has been awarded as the 2012 National Outstanding Farmer, praised the rank and file employees of the City including job orders to their significant contributions especially in the frontline services that impacted the welfare of the people they served.

He reiterated that ‘Change’ must come from the grassroots which everyone has its vital role.

“The success of the leaders can be achieved only if with the collective efforts from ground and in the field through sincere commitment and dedication of genuine services to its constituents,” he added.

The second term local chief executive of Cabangalsan challenged the audience of creating a venue for real change even if it only takes one per cent of effort up until we achieve the change we are gearing for.

City Mayor Ignacio W. Zubiri led the convocation program along with the attendance of City Officials.
