During the celebration of the 146th Aldaw Ta Malaybalay program on June 15, 2023, the search for Barangay LTIA (Lupon Tagapamayapa Incentive Awards) were presented to commend exemplary performance in resolving disputes and maintaining peace within the barangay. The awarding ceremony took place at the Folk Arts Theater, located at the Kaamulan grounds in Malaybalay City.
City Local Government Operations Officer, Amalia A. Propia, had the honor of presenting the awards to the deserving recipients.
The final results for the Barangay LTIA are as follows:
Category A:
Barangay Magsaysay – First Place
Barangay Bangcud – Second Place
Barangay Kalasungay – Third Place
Category B:
Barangay St. Peter – First Place
Barangay 2 – Second Place
Barangay 8 – Third Place
The Barangay LTIA Awards aim to recognize the remarkable efforts of the Lupon Tagapamayapa, who play a vital role in promoting peace and resolving conflicts within their respective communities.
Through their outstanding performance, Barangays Magsaysay emerged as top achiever in Category A, while Barangay St. Peter stood out in Category B. The rankings were determined based on the adjectival rating assigned to each Lupon Tagapamayapa.
The City of Malaybalay takes pride in recognizing the invaluable contributions of these peacekeepers, and their commitment to upholding the principles of justice and unity in their barangays.
