A blessing ceremony took place today, July 24, 2020 for the two brand new Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) 4Ă—4 vehicles at the City Disaster Risk Reduction Office (CDRRMO) at the Market Site, this City.
Key officials of the City Government led by Vice Mayor Jay Warren R. Pabillaran attended the event. In attendance with him were Executive Assistant V Roberto T. Flores, Executive Assistant IV Brian Nelson T. Flores and City Administrator Herculano S. Ronolo.
Pabillaran, in his message said, “Now that the City of Malaybalay has the equipment, lives of people will not be compromised.” He added further that the recently turned over vehicles are something the cityfolk can be proud of as peoples’ money is put into good use.
Representing the City Mayor, EA Flores has also expressed his gratitude to the realization of priority programs and projects of the current administration under the leadership of Mayor Florencio T. Flores, Jr. He urged the rescuers and responders to work as a team in providing a more responsive and better service for the people of the City.
The event was also attended by City Councilors Rendon P. Sangalang and Christopher B. Soria, as well as men and women of the CDRRMO and department heads.
