The City Economic Enterprise Development and Management Office (CEEDMO) marked December 2021 with significant accomplishments.

On top, CEEDMO welcomes Dunkin Donuts for opening its newest branch at Malaybalay City Public Market and Terminal.

City Mayor Hon. Florencio T. Flores Jr. attended the Grand Opening last December 19, 2021, with City Budget Officer Arlene Ho and CEEDMO head Romeo Lapeciros Jr.

CEEDMO considers the opening of Dunkin Donuts as another major accomplishment because the food chain can greatly contribute to the income-generation objective of the local government.

The Malaybalay City Public Market and Terminal is a strategic location for establishing businesses and enterprises in the city because of its accessibility, good foot traffic for potential customers, and considerably lower rental rates than other commercial areas.

CEEDMO is also acknowledged as one of the key players in the City Government of Malaybalay that successfully initiates services and programs to help revive the local economy amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The City Government’s efforts were recognized by the Department of Finance-Bureau of Local Government Finance for demonstrating the Best Local Fiscal Management in the area of recovery initiatives to help rebuild the economy.

On behalf of Mayor Flores, Lapeciros and City Treasurer Rosie Dumas received the recognition last December 14, 2021, at Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga.

CEEDMO also recognized stall owners during the Search for the Cleanest and Most Well-maintained Stall in the Public Market and Terminal.

The ceremony was held during the Market Stallholders’ Christmas Party last December 20, 2021.

These accomplishments are testament to the local government’s hard work and dedication to serve the people of Malaybalay City better.
