In celebration of PhilHealth’s 29th anniversary, the Konsulta Caravan and Outreach Program took place on April 4, 2024, at the P-3 Bangcud Covered Court in Malaybalay City. The event aimed to provide an orientation on Konsulta and its associated benefits, alongside offering various services such as registration, profiling, and the distribution of Member Data Records (MDRs) and identification cards (IDs).

The event catered to Indigenous Peoples (IPs), Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), and Senior Citizens, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility of healthcare services. Key figures present included Mr. Romulo M. Lapuz, Jr., Chief of the Local Health Insurance Office (LHIO) Bukidnon; Engr. Cipriano Pagaura, Supervisor of PCB Malaybalay; and Miss Marlyn Acosta, Supervisor of PCB Valencia.

Medical personnel from the City Health Office (CHO), namely Dr. Susan Marie Punongbayan, Dr. Kim Luardo, and Dr. Michael Organiza, were also in attendance, offering their expertise and support. Additionally, the event saw participation from PhilHealth Bukidnon staff, CHO representatives, NDPs, Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) from Bangcud, and the Barangay Council led by Punong Barangay Rosa Maria M. Robosa.

The Konsulta Caravan and Outreach Program served as a significant initiative to promote healthcare awareness, accessibility, and community engagement, aligning with PhilHealth’s mission to ensure universal healthcare coverage for all Filipinos.
