The City Government of Malaybalay joins the nationwide 3-day National Vaccination day that runs from November 29 to December 1, 2021.

City Mayor Florencio “Doc Boy” T. Flores, Jr., during the kick-off ceremony on Monday, November 29 welcomed guests from the DOH headed by Dr. Vincent C. Raguro.

Mayor Flores thanked the overwhelming support of the people who answered the call to get vaccinated. “We are moving forward in reaching our target towards the road to herd immunity. This is our chance to get out from work and visit the nearest vaccination centers offered to all eligible target population,” he added.

The local chief executive is hopeful that our actives cases remain low despite the threath of new virus variant emerging from other countries. “Let us continue to observe health protocol and support the government’s vaccination program. We have achieved so much amid the challenges and difficulties that is why we have to continue the fight and protect ourselves, families and communities from this deadly virus.”

The event caters vaccination first dose for pedia population aged 12 to 17 years old at Enhance Screening Area (ESA) and adult population to be held at Malaybalay City Central Elementary School, Brgy 4.
