The City Government of Malaybalay received food packs assistance from the    Office of Civil Defense Region 10 (OCD-10) under the Oplan Kalinga Program.

This aims to augment  Covid-19 facilities basic necessities in sustaining its operations.

On November 19, 2020, the Malaybalay Incident Management Team withrew the assistance package at OCD-10, Cagayan de Oro.

A total of 125 beneficiaries (cases) will receive the said augmentation of 375 packs of rice (5kgs per pack), 500 pcs of corned beef, 500 pcs of beef loaf, 500 pcs of sardines, 500 pcs of century tuna, 1625 pcs of Milo, 2500 pcs of 3in1 coffee, 375 tissue rolls, 125 pcs of bath soap, 250 pcs of alcohol, 250 pcs of toothpaste and 125 pcs of toothbrush.

Each beneficiary will get a food pack that contains three packs of rice (15kgs), 16 canned goods, threw packs of 3in1 coffee, and 12 pcs of Milo. For the hygiene kits, one piece of safeguard soap, one toothbrush, two  packs of toothpaste, two bottles of 250 ml 70% alcohol, and three rolls of tissue paper.

With this development, Acting City Mayor Jay Warren R. Pabillaran expressed his gratitude in behalf of the people of Malaybalay to OCD’s program and support. He stressed that the City Government is committed to closely coordinate with all the plans and programs ensuring effective management in our fight to mitigate, prevent and contain the deadly virus.

“Rest assured, we will continue to support all your endeavors in the coming days and months until the crisis of our time has ended,” he added.
