The City Human Resource and Management Office (CHRMO) conducted an orientation of newly hired job order (JO) employees of the City Government of Malaybalay to discuss existing polices and guidelines regarding their status of employment.

CHRMO said about 723 JOs comprised of three batches from the different departments of the City government including those detailed to other national government agencies attended the said activity.

The human resource department stressed the importance of dedication and commitment of their recently assigned duties and responsibilities in order to deliver quality service to the people we serve.

Facilitators of the orientation also presented the Civil Service Commission rules and regulations particularly on RA 6713 otherwise known as the “code of conduct and ethical standards for public officials and employees.” Among the discussions tackled were their entitled employees’ rights and privileges.

The 3-day activity was held on October 15 – 17, 2019 at the People’s Hall, City Hall, Malaybalay City.
