In a bid to meet the emerging demands for a safer and progressive City, Office of the City Engineer has reported that phase two of the construction of the new City Fire Station commenced last March 18, 2018 with an appropriated budget of P-8 Million under the priority projects of City Mayor Ignacio W. Zubiri.
The infrastructure project located at the complex of Malaybalay City Police Station, Barangay 2 started last year which was funded by the Bureau of Fire and Protection amounted to P-2.6M for construction of the building phase one.
City Government cost shared the two-story building at least 75 percent of the total for the completion of the project.
During the groundbreaking ceremony early last year, Mayor Zubiri affirmed that we are fulfilling the dream of a better facility for our fire and rescue personnel to provide better services for the people of Malaybalay.
