The Pag-Asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) recently held its Regional 3rd Quarter Meeting at Loiza’s Casisang in Malaybalay City. The province of Bukidnon served as the host, with PYAP Malaybalay taking the lead in organizing the Socials Night.

The meeting, under the guidance of PYAP Region Focal Person, Ms. Sarah Mae Baldon, brought together PYAP Focal Persons and PYAP Presidents representing different cities and provinces within Region 10.

The meeting’s agenda included discussions related to the evaluation of the 49th Founding Anniversary of PYAP, which took place at MCC, Tubod, Lanao del Norte from July 25 to 28, 2023. Attendees shared their experiences and insights from this significant event.

Moreover, there were discussions about the upcoming PYAP 50th Golden Founding Anniversary, to be jointly hosted by the province of Bukidnon, along with the cities of Malaybalay and Valencia. Ms. Melissa Suarez, the PYAP Province of Bukidnon Focal Person, introduced various activities that may be featured during the anniversary celebrations.

The Socials Night, hosted and organized by the PYAP Malaybalay Federation officers, was a great success, with the participation of 16 PYA group presidents. Delegates enjoyed the evening, actively engaging in games and various social activities, enhancing camaraderie among members.

On the second day of the meeting, delegates had the opportunity to visit local landmarks, including the Monastery of Transfiguration, the Kaamulan Folk Arts Theatre, and the Provincial Zoo, adding a cultural and educational dimension to the event.

The PYAP Regional 3rd Quarter Meeting successfully achieved its objectives, fostering collaboration and enthusiasm as PYAP prepares for its grand 50th Golden Anniversary celebration.
