The City Government of Malaybalay through the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWD) under the Youth Welfare Section for Pag-asa Youth Association (PYA) Groups conducted a Skills Training and Demo on dishwashing liquid and banana chips making on May 5 and 7, 2021, respectively.

Held at the Barangay Busdi covered court and Barangay 1 function hall, this City, a total of 31 PYA group members participated in the said training. The trainers were staff from the Youth Welfare Section and KALIPI of the Women and Children Section.

The activity is intended for the youth enabling them to acquire a new skill they can apply and use as their livelihood project as an individual or even as a group.

It’s a lifelong skill that they can also share with others, to maximize economic opportunities today and in the future.

For Barangay 1 PYA, their barangay funded the budget while the budget allocated for Busdi PYA was sponsored by the Youth Welfare Service Provider.
