The Traffic Management Center (TMC) under the City Mayor’s Office dispatched experienced enforcers to various schools as students excitedly welcomed their first face-to-face schooling after two years.

The Department of Education (DepEd) guidelines require, among others, that schools will only be allowed returning to normal mode if there is a presence of a traffic enforcer or traffic aide. Apart from that, the schools are also required to install barricades to safeguard the students and other pedestrians.

TMC head Joseph G. Jabla and operations officer Ernie B. Neri expressed thanks to City Mayor Jay Warren R. Pabillaran for the hiring of additional 23 traffic enforcers so that the needed security and safety of the school-goers are met. Both officers along with their staff also conducted  inspection and evaluation of traffic flow in various schools, and performance of the traffic enforcers dispatched to different areas of the City.
