The City Government of Malaybalay technical working group (TWG) inspected the brand new patient transport vehicle (PTV) on February 8, 2021. The acquisition of the mobile asset aims to augment the City’s response capability in times of disasters and emergencies.

Held at the City Hall, Exec. Asst. IV Brian Nelson T. Flores led the TWG to ensure that the vehicle has complied all the basic features to be manned by the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office personnel. The life-saving transport vehicle carries a 2.7-diesel engine equipped with basic life support kits, tools and equipment.

Since last year, various emergency and response vehicles were purchased under the administration of Mayor Florencio T. Flores, Jr. This is to allocate a capable fleet to effectively respond and save lives even in the remotest community in the City. He provided rescue vehicles to barangays, ambulance to emergency 911, Covid-19 transport and also pick-up trucks for urban search and rescue missions.
