Malaybalay City Accounting office sponsored the monthly convocation program of the City Government of Malaybalay on March 13, 2017, anchored in the theme: “Keeping the Fire and Passion in Public Service.”
The activity proved to be meaningful to City employees and officials as the Accounting Office had invited a well-renowned motivational speaker, Mr. Churchill G. Aguilar, MA.
Mr. Aguilar, a prolific writer and freelance consultant to more than a hundred local government units in the Philippines stressed the importance of each employee’s values.
He emphasized and narrated with his prowess in public speaking that once employees understood their roles and duties clearly, the real change we aspire for our society should all boil down from ourselves.
He concluded his inspirational message by challenging the audience that this institution [public servants], “You are the Hope of the City.”
