In an effort to meet the increasing demand of public service, the City Government of Malaybalay has conducted a recruitment process to fill published vacant positions. The hiring process aims to place fit, competent, and able employees in various roles within the city government.
Under Ordinance 968, series of 2021, the City Government of Malaybalay is implementing a phased approach to the recruitment process. For the first tranche, 54 vacant positions have been published, while the remaining 138 positions will be published in the succeeding months in tranches.
The Human Resource Merit, Promotion, and Selection Board (HRMPSB) successfully conducted examinations for the first and second level positions included in the first tranche. The written tests took place from June 19 to June 21, 2023. Subsequently, interviews for the qualified applicants commenced on June 22, 2023, and will continue until July 14, 2023.
The City Government is committed to ensuring a fair and transparent selection process to identify individuals who possess the necessary skills and qualifications to contribute to the efficient delivery of public services. Through this endeavor, the government aims to address the dynamic changes and evolving needs in public service.
