The City Human Resource Management Office (CHRMO), under the leadership of Magnolia O. Improgo, CGDH I-HRMO, facilitated the annual Valentine’s Day celebration for city government employees on February 14, 2025, at the People’s Hall, New City Hall, Malaybalay City.
The event, attended by City Officials including Mayor Jay Warren R. Pabillaran, aimed to foster camaraderie among employees and express appreciation for their dedication and hard work.
Mayor Pabillaran, along with other officials, delivered special and inspiring messages, emphasizing the value of teamwork and appreciation in the workplace.
A major highlight of the celebration was the Dating Game, where six mystery contestants answered questions from a “searcher” before making a final choice for their Valentine.
The first match was between Ms. Ivy Jamisola from CMO-BAC office and Engr. Clifford Palmere from the City Engineer’s Office.
The second pair featured Engr. Arthur Callao, also from the City Engineer’s Office, and Ms. Keilah Jelian Reciña from CGSO.
The lucky pairs received a free Valentine’s dinner date, sponsored by Hon. Brian T. Flores and City Vice Mayor Hon. Estelito R. Marabe. Additionally, the female winners received bouquets from Hon. Kathleen Cecille C. Pagaling.
The celebration ended on a joyful note, with employees sharing laughter and good memories, reinforcing the belief that love and appreciation should be celebrated every day, not just on Valentine’s Day.
