MALAYBALAY CITY COMPREHENSIVE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM IMPLEMENTING GUIDELINES FOR HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP

  • 1. He/She should be a son/daughter of parents who are actually residing in the City of Malaybalay (A certification from the barangay that they are residents).Seeds and Fertilizer Subsidies;
  • 2. He/She must be a grade six graduate whose average is 83% or higher with no grade below 80 per subject.
  • 3. He/She must not enjoy another scholarship grant from the school or any sponsoring group.
  • 4. He/She must pass the qualifying competitive examination conducted by the Private Educational Institution (St. Isidore high school, St. Isidore Academy, St. Michael high school, San Isidro College high school, Bethel Baptist Christian Academy). (The qualifying competitive examination is temporarily suspended due to the COVID 19 pandemic and in lieu thereof, applicant prioritization is based on academic rankings and allocated slots of their respective school).
  • 5. He/She must be of good moral character. (A certificate of good moral character signed by the Elementary School Principal).
  • 6. To maintain his/her scholarship, he/she must have a grade of 80 and above in all subjects including homeroom subject and an average of 83%.
  • 7. Each High School student under the Program will receive an annual tuition fee of Five Thousand Pesos (P5,000.00)
  • 8. He/She must be financially incapable to pursue a high school education whose parents annual NET income does not exceed to P150,000.00.
  • 9. Limited to one beneficiary per family.

MALAYBALAY CITY COMPREHENSIVE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM IMPLEMENTING GUIDELINES FOR COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP

  • 1. He/She should be a son/daughter of parents who are actually residing in the City of Malaybalay (A certification from the barangay that they are residents).
  • 2. He/She must be a senior high school graduate whose average is 83% or higher with no grade below 80 per subject in grade 12.
  • 3. He/She must take and pass the qualifying competitive examination conducted by the City Government.
  • 4. He/She must pass the entrance examination of the State College or any School/College and enroll in any school within Bukidnon.
  • 5. He/She must be not more than 21 years of age at the time of his/her application.
  • 6. He/She must be of good moral character. (A certificate of good moral character signed by the Senior High School Principal).
  • 7. He/She must be financially incapable to pursue a college education whose parents annual NET income does not exceed to P150, 000.00.
  • 8. He/She must not be enjoying any scholarship or study grant at the time of application.
  • 9. Limited to one beneficiary per family.
  • 10. Shifting of the course may be allowed after getting approval from the registrar.
  • 11. He/She must carry a semestral load as prescribed in the approved course curriculum.
  • 12. He/She must finish the course within four (4) years.
  • 13. A scholar who enrolled at the Private School is entitled to Php6, 000.00 tuition fee and Php1, 000.00 incentive/allowance per semester.
  • 14. A scholar who enrolled at the State Universities and Colleges (SUC’s) is entitled to Php7, 000.00 incentive/allowance per semester.
  • 15. A honor city scholar graduates will receive the following incentives as recognition to the scholastic performance:
  • Summa cum laude – Php 6,000.00
  • Magna cum laude – Php 4,000.00
  • Cum laude – Php 2,000.00
