The City Government of Malaybalay, through the City Mayor’s Office – Business Permits and Licensing Division (BPLD) earned praise from walk-in clients for providing a responsive frontline service during the holding of Business One Stop Shop (BOSS).

In a post on social media, one client said “appreciate much (the services), the latest and very systematic one-stop-shop in the processing of 2020 business permits.”

Other comment from netizen added that, “yes, their processing is fast.” One commented also that he secured his business permit in less than two hours. 

The annual BOSS caters renewal and application of new business permits geared at providing “ease of doing business” to our customers.

According to BPLD, this year it implemented a three-step-process that clocked a turnaround time of transaction per client around five to 10 minutes. Provided however that they comply all the backroom documentary requirements before proceeding to step one, it added.

BPLD also said there were some minor concerns of clients as well but the service providers do their best and explained thoroughly that they should accomplish all the supporting documents during the pre-assessment stage.

The streamlined process aimed for an efficient, fast and hassle-free transaction from frontline services at City Treasurer, Fire department and licensing division.

The backroom offices who also supported in expediting the process were comprised of City Environment and Natural Resources Office, City Engineering Office and City Health Office.
