The City Government of Malaybalay joins the nationwide Civil Registration Month celebration anchored on the theme, “Strengthening Civil Registration and Vital Statistics’ Digital Information: The Ways to Manage the New Normal.”

Under Proclamation 682 declaring every February as the Civil Registration month, the City Civil Registry Office (CCRO) kicked- off the celebration with a motorcade around the City. It was participated by different departments, stakeholders and personnel from the Philippine Statistics Authority field office.

Then on Feb. 3, City civil registrar Priscilla G. Tilanduca and her staff conducted a one-day free civil registration at the City Hall.

Tilanduca cited that during the activity, no fees were collected for those certified residents of the City. Other offered services included the issuances of Extract Form 1A (Birth), Form 3A (Marriage), Form 2A (Death). Registration of Birth Certificate (newly born), delayed registration, death registration, and marriage application.

Through the enactment of Republic Act 11055, the CCRO also launched data capturing of the Philippine National ID System in coordination with the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) provincial office. Enumerators were deployed in various barangay to conduct data capturing over targeted 27,985 population from January 18 – March 31, 2021.
