On February 21, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., the Malaybalay City Tourism Office facilitated the screening for Miss Malaybalay 2025 at the People’s Hall, City Hall, Casisang, Malaybalay City.
The selection process aimed to identify the top 15 official candidates who would advance to compete for the prestigious title of Miss Malaybalay 2025.
Aspiring candidates from 29 out of the city’s 46 barangays gathered to showcase their poise, intelligence, and charm as they underwent a series of evaluations.
The screening panel consisted of Ms. Honolu Marie Cruzin, former City Tourism Officer; Mr. Romeo R. Lapeciros, Jr., CEEDMO Department Head; Ms. Venus Palalay, City Mayor’s Office – Community Affairs Division Head; and Dr. Jude Rey Pagaling, a physician from the City Health Office. Their expertise greatly contributed to the success of the selection process.
The screening began with an introduction, followed by a panel interview where the candidates answered questions posed by the judges. The candidates participated in two types of exposures: casual wear and shorts attire.
The following candidates were selected as the top 15 official contenders, as announced, in no particular order:

• Barangay 6 – Ms. Gwen Marie Perion
• Barangay 3 – Ms. Leanne Cardines
• Barangay Sto. Niño – Ms. Khaye F. Fantilanan
• Barangay 4 – Ms. Christine Roselle Angela Torres
• Barangay Bangcud – Ms. Liz Leanna M. Lapuz
• Barangay 9 – Ms. Olissca J. Almo
• Barangay Indalasa – Ms. Lady Lorraine B. Arsua
• Barangay 5 – Ms. Cyndy Yuanne Napalla
• Barangay Kalasungay – Ms. Ariane Pearl A. Abunda
• Barangay Kulaman – Ms. Christine Manalo Villaflor
• Barangay Magsaysay – Ms. Mekaila Soria
• Barangay Dalwangan – Ms. Sydney Claire L. Magallanes
• Barangay Sinanglanan – Ms. Kylla Clarece Gubat
• Barangay Casisang – Ms. Jewel Mich S. Gacus.
The City Tourism Office warmly congratulates the official candidates and wishes them success in the upcoming competition. This prestigious event aims to empower women, promote tourism, and celebrate the rich culture and diversity of Malaybalay City.
The Miss Malaybalay 2025 grand coronation night will be held on March 20, 2025, at the Kaamulan Open Theatre in Malaybalay City.
