The City Veterinary Office (CVO) has released the schedule for the first round of veterinary services in all 46 barangays aiming to attain healthier livestock animals in the City.
According to CVO, every barangay has a number of designated sites where farm animals will be treated and supplemented with vitamins. Other services include deworming and vaccinations for rabies and hemorrhagic septicemia.
The yearly program also carries out animal consultation and onsite treatment. Aside from these field services, there will be issuances of certificates of ownership of large animals, as well as facilitation of PCIC insurance for livestock animals.
