The City Civil Registrar’s Office will offer a one-day free civil registration services on February 3, 2020. This is in celebration of the Civil Registration Month with the theme: “Shaping CRVS by Embracing New Trends in the 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR).”

City registrar Priscilla G. Tilanduca invites interested residents of Malaybalay to avail the said offer held at the City Hall. “The following services include issuances of extract form 1A (birth), form 3A (marriage), and form 2A (death),” she said.

Tilanduca also added that during the activity, “no fees to be collected for registrations of birth certificate for newly born, delayed registration, death registration and marriage application provided they are duly residents in the City.”  

Under Proclamation 682 declares February in every year as the Civil Registration month. It highlights the importance of vital events registration. Decades of struggle to engage local government units to actively participate in the challenge for registering vital events in every barangay. Barangay Civil Registration was then organized to strengthen the support of our constituents.

The monthlong celebration will kick-off on first Monday of February with a motorcade around the City together with different departments, stakeholders and Philippines Statistics Authority field office personnel.
