Presidential Proclamation No. 1267 declares State of Calamity to regions IV-B, VI, VII, X, and XIII due to the effect brought by typhoon Odette.
As a result, Price Freeze is imposed in all areas under the regions affected, as cited in RA 7591 otherwise known as the Price Act.
The DTI is closely monitoring the basic necessities as reflected in the price freeze list.
The 60-day price control period started last December 21, 2021 and ends on February 19, 2022.
