The City Government of Malaybalay through the City Health Office – Population and Development (CHO-POPDEV) section conducted the Kalalakihang Tumutugon sa Responsibilidad at Obligasyonsa sa Pamilya (KATROPA) orientation seminar on April 12, 2022.

Held at the Conference Room of the New City of Hall, the seminar will be conducted in batches to all the male employees on all offices of the LGU- Malaybalay.

The first batch of the seminar was attended by male personnel of the City Agriculture Office, City Accounting Office, City Budget Office and the City Administrator’s Office. The seminar aims to address existing gender issues that hinder men and women empowerment and development

Resource speakers Blas D. Alesna, Alexis John P. Abregana, Geño S. Cahucom and City Population Officer Ms. Angelica T. Abugan, tackled on gender quality, responsible and healthy sexual and reproductive behavior including family planning, maternal and child health on their effect of population growth to our resources and our environment.

This seminar was formulated with the hope that it will help augment the productivity and income. Hence, give security to the family in order not to jeopardize the future generation.
