The Bukidnon State University – College of Nursing (BukSU-CON) was honored with plaques and a resolution of commendation during the 48th Regular Session of the Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) on June 20, 2023. The recognition was given for BukSU-CON’s remarkable achievement of ranking first in the May 2023 Philippine Nursing Licensure Examinations.

During the session on June 13, 2023, Hon. City Councilor Alan Ryan O. Legaspi sponsored a resolution to commend BukSU-CON for their outstanding performance. The resolution was duly seconded, highlighting the college’s remarkable feat in securing the top spot among the top ten performing schools with a perfect passing rate of one hundred percent (100%).

Not only did BukSU-CON achieve this notable milestone, but the college also produced the sixth and seventh top-notchers in the licensure examination. Mr. Ryan Kenth S. Valiente and Ms. Chesia Earl Basinillo showcased their exceptional capabilities, further exemplifying the excellence that the college nurtures among its students.

Consistently maintaining a one hundred percent (100%) passing rate in the previous Nursing Licensure Examinations of 2021 and 2022, BukSU-CON has continuously inspired and instilled in its students the values of diligent study, sacrifice, hard work, and perseverance. These values have brought pride and honor not only to the City of Malaybalay but also to the university.

The City of Malaybalay acknowledges the outstanding achievements of the BukSU-College of Nursing and expresses its continued support in promoting a culture of excellence within the city. By recognizing and crediting the achievements of the college, the city aims to inspire other institutions and individuals to strive for greatness and uphold the highest standards of education.
