In celebration of National Children’s Month with the theme “Kalusugan, Kaisipan, and Kapakanan ng Bawat Bata Ating Tutukan,” the Malaybalay City Council for the Welfare of Children (CCWC) spearheaded the motorcade around the poblacion earlier today, November 4, 2022.

This month-long celebration aims to advocate and give Filipino children access to a healthy environment, good education, and healthcare. No child should be left behind as we advance towards growth and development, regardless of the various circumstances and scenarios that exist today which can hinder children’s ability to have a brighter future.

Since the pandemic, this year’s celebration represents the return of face-to-face and physical activities prepared for the children. It also enables the participants to realize the importance of having access to a healthy environment, good education, and healthcare, which are integral parts of their well-being and be able to contribute to the development of the country.

City Administrator’s Office (CAdminO) in coordination with the Traffic Management Council (TMC) assisted the activity participated by different offices of the city government.
