The City Human Resource Management office under the leadership of Magnolia O. Improgo, HRMO facilitated the conduct of Seminar-Workshop on Effective Customer Service for Office Frontline Personnel on April 16, 2024 at the Veranda Grand Hall, Casisang, Malaybalay City.

A total of 41 employees of the City Government participated the Seminar-Workshop. This activity was conducted to help frontliners go beyond providing assistance and create a positive experience that involves building relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences and providing personal solutions to their problems.

The training workshop covered the specific topics on (1) Basics in Customer Service; (2) Proper Customer Service Language; and (3) Dealing with Difficult Customer Situations. The resource speaker was Sansehry B. Delos Santos, HRMO IV from City Human Resource Management Office.

A pre-test and a post-test was administered to measure the extent of learning of the participants at the end of the training. It showed a 97% to 100% correct answers of the total number of items. Finally, the participants accorded Very Satisfactory to Excellent ratings in the areas of Training Content, Speakers, Facilities, Venue, and Facilitators effort.

This activity is part of the CHRMO’s strengthened commitment towards professionalism in the conduct of activities in order to sustain service excellence in the government.
