Congressman Atty. John Flores’ Can-ayan view deck project was successfully turned-over to Barangay Can-Ayan, represented by their chairman Rommel Seblian, last October 7, 2022.
According to Cong. Flores, the Php 5M-project will provide potential income to the said barangay as it attracts more tourists while boosting the City’s ecotourism sector.
“Tourists and locals can visit and relax during their travels, and it is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It offers astonishing and panoramic view of nature,” Flores added.
The event was attended by Vice Mayor Estelito Marabe, City Administrator Anna Marie R. Bergado, City Councilors Dindo Dinlayan, Alan Ryann Legaspi, Niko Aldeguer, Brian Flores, Roylan Orquia, and Erwin Damasco. Can-ayan barangay kagawad Nora Sagubay also witnessed the ceremonies.
The view deck is now open for public between 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily. Tourists who wish to visit the site must coordinate first with Barangay Can-ayan.
